You can speed up the transfer process by pre-approving your transfer with an authorisation code.

By sending your new registrar an authorisation code when you make the initial transfer request, you automatically confirm the transfer of your domain name at the same time. This means that we can process it immediately because we don’t have to wait for your confirmation.

Get an authorisation code

To get an authorisation code you can either:

• Log on to the .eu end-user application and click on “View transfer authorisation code” to see your code OR
• Tell your new registrar that you would like to pre-approve the transfer of your domain name. He will contact us and we will send you an email containing the authorisation code. (The email will be sent to the email address you have listed for your domain name in the WHOIS database.) Send your new registrar this code when you request the transfer.
